New structural remediation supports new natural slate tiles in the unfading back, a gleaming custom copper gutter system, and copper snow guards now highlight this home's historic features. This homeowner made an insurance claim and was able to get the project covered.

Project Overview –

After a storm caused a tree to fall on this historic 1927 natural stone home in Washington, DC, the damage was extensive. The impact crushed the original slate tiles, knocked off a dormer, and left the copper gutters hanging dangerously

Restoration Process –

To address the damage, American Custom Contractors promptly assembled a team of experts for a full restoration. First, we repaired the structural damage, then installed new natural slate tiles in unfading black. Additionally, we custom-built a copper gutter system with gleaming downspouts. Furthermore, we repaired the interior plasterwork and added copper snow guards, restoring and preserving the home’s historic charm.

Throughout the insurance claim process, we fully supported the homeowners. As a result, the project was beautifully completed, leaving the homeowners extremely satisfied.
