American Custom Contractors was amazing from the word “go”! First, William went above and beyond in helping get an insurance claim approved for new siding and were so thorough and patient with our adjuster. When we got the approval for coverage and decided we wanted to add on new windows, Chris and William really worked with us on the options and got the price to something we felt comfortable with. We got all new Climatech windows and went with Alside Ascend siding (in Sterling Grey) because we liked the wider planks and additional insulation. Chris took lots of care and time explaining the options for us, with zero pressure. Once the contract was signed they kept us well informed of the timing and double and triple checked the scope of work. For the windows they built 13 custom windows within a couple weeks of order, and they were installed within 2 days of work – no complaints at all. Delivery of the materials for the siding was easy and thoughtful and they worked hard to keep access to at least part of our garage and driveway. As soon as the work started you could tell they were professionals and took pride in their work – they kept the site clean each day and got the insulation up swiftly. The team showed up bright and early each day and worked ALL day – shockingly so – to get the work done quickly. Whenever they had a question about a design decision they stopped and asked for our input and offered their expert experience. Everything turned out better than we could have expected and they stuck to the budget. Once the siding was all done they painted our brick to match the siding and put a fresh coat of paint on our garage doors. They were incredibly meticulous. Our neighbors were obviously jealous of the quality of the work since they had just had their siding replaced weeks prior and didn’t see the same work ethic. We are SO pleased with the results. Frank (our project lead) came by repeatedly to check on quality and progress. Cesar and his team are obviously the best siding installers this side of the Mississippi. I would not hesitate for a second to recommend American Custom Contractors!!

We are very happy with the roof replacement work done on our property by American Custom Contractors along with their sub-contractor (led by Mike Brown). The material we chose is Brava’s synthetic cedar shake “weathered†. The roof color and style contrast well with the house The Project Manager (Blase) and Mike Brown along with his team (Emilio, Parco, Tim, Mike Parise, and two others I did not get their names here) were very careful to make sure that surroundings are free of nails and other hazardous materials throughout the construction process. Blasé was also available and responsive to address questions we had during the process. We highly appreciate the hard work and customer satisfaction-oriented approach Blase and the entire team followed to execute the project. At the end of the project, Mike Parise planted grass seeds on property lawns where contractions activities were taking place. This is greatly appreciated! For such roofing projects, I recommend American Custom Contractors and the subcontractor (Michael E. Brown Custom Roofing & Guttering , Inc. )

Why Homeowners in Maryland are Choosing Us

American Custom Contractors was a great company to work with on another roof project after using them in the past. They always have come in with the lowest prices when I get bids, and their professionalism and expertise all the way through the project was so appreciated. They did great work on a full roof replacement, including coordinating a complicated replacement of an old, rusty HVAC pipe that was installed incorrectly previously. They are always extremely easy to work with and go above and beyond to provide good service. Highly recommend using them!

Wow. I’ve never worked with such a professional and transparent contracting company! Our sales consultant was extremely professional, knowledgeable and prompt. He came in and assessed the issues we were having with our gutters and broke down what was needed, step by step. He really made it a very seamless process. I would definitely recommend Menoa and American Custom Contractors to anyone in the DMV area.

We are very happy with the installation of our new architectural roof, skylights, and gutter guards. Our sales associate {…} did an outstanding job helping us through the details of the purchase. The professional staff, from the project managers, administrative support, roofers, leads, carpenters and all on the team were excellent and gave us what we wanted and ordered. Any issues were addressed immediately, and all callbacks were timely and complete. We highly recommend American Custom contractors and will use them again if the need arises.

American Custom Contractors did a fantastic job on our roof! The entire process was smooth and straight forward. They worked with us to find the perfect color of Brava tile. The roof is beautiful in every aspect. We were out of town when they put the new roof on and they sent us photos of the progress. When we showed up our yard was in perfect shape. Nothing was left behind and we couldn’t be more thrilled with the end product. I highly recommend this company. Responsible, great at communicating and did an incredible job!

American custom contractors replaced my roof in 2018 and I was really pleased with the work. I recommended them to my best friend and cousin and they replaced their roofs as well and they were very pleased. After the hail storm last summer that hit the Poolesville/Boyds area really bad, I immediately hit up my sales rep from 2018, Mike, who was very responsive as he always has been. Mike came by, assessed the damage, and dealt with the insurance reps. After approval for my roof replacement, complete gutter replacement, fascia board replacement, and the cedar shake on an exterior building, Mike came back by with I believe his operations manager, Frank. Together we walked around the house to assess what all we wanted done, picked colors for singles on the house, cedar shake, and gutters for both structures. They were both very informative and understanding. I recommended that they speak to my neighbor and they replaced his shingles and gutters as well prior to mine getting done due to cedar shake taking a while in certain colors, and he was extremely happy with the job. When it was time for my job to start I met with the project manager, Belter, who walked thru everything with me one last time before starting to make sure my expectations were being met. Belter was additionally here the majority of the 4 days making sure each day to come get me prior to leaving to look things over and explain next steps. I believe the job was broken up into 3 1/2 to four days. The crew was great. They protected everything as best they could and when mistakes or accidents occurred, they immediately brought it to my attention and fixed it. In one instance, Belter went out of his way to head to home depot to replace a banister cap that had been broken from the huge gusts of wind knocking down their gear. All in all, I'm extremely happy with the job and the house looks great. They completed projects that I had been dreading and putting off for years. They were quick to fix any small things I pointed out regarding the new boards under the gutters or fascia board installed. They were very detail oriented, respectful, understanding, and most importantly, trustworthy. I would recommend them to family and friends, and I would call them again if I needed additional work done.

My experience with American Custom Contractors has been completely positive! All interactions I had with the ACC team (Yanni, Alex, Victor, and the crew) were helpful and considerate. I would never have known we even had hail damage from a recent storm if Yanni hadn't introduced himself while I was out walking. My husband and I were very hesitant to commit to filing a claim for a new room, but Yanni walked us through the whole process of the insurance claim and even went up on the roof with the insurance inspector to point out what he saw. Once we were confirmed for not only a new roof, but new gutters and screens as well, we met Alex, our project manager. He made sure that we were ready for the crew to arrive. The crew was fabulous. We couldn't believe how fast they worked and how meticulous they were in cleaning up after they were done! After the job was done, both Alex and Victor stopped by to make sure that we were happy with the job (which we completely are!). I absolutely recommend American Custom Contractors for any roofing or gutter needs!

Working with Yanni and Alex ACC to repair our roof after a hailstorm was a breeze and fast, between getting the inspection , scheduling and installation. We had the new roof within a month of the storm. The team is friendly and easy to work with. Highly recommend!

Cynthia M

I also want to tell everyone how Belter is. He has been my on-site contact while putting up my siding and taking care of odds and ends. He has been completely available to me at any time I had a question. It has constantly kept me up-to-date on the progress of my project. He is truly the one that pulled it all together and made it work. I wish there was a 10 star option.
