This historic home is located in Wesley Heights, Washington DC, dating back to 1927. Last Autumn, a fierce storm brought down a massive tree, damaging the front portion of the original slate roof, along with the framing and decking underneath. The aftermath included a missing dormer, a dangling gutter system, potential structural damage, and the interior in disarray with cracked plaster and water saturation. But after diligent efforts, this resilient home now stands tall once more! Sporting a brand new natural slate roof equipped with copper snow guards, a custom copper gutter system, and a meticulously repaired and repainted interior.
