Below are a few steps to help you get your home ready.

Clear the gutters
Any time of the year, you should remove any debris, leaves, and branches from your gutters and downspouts to prevent water from overflowing and causing potential damage to the siding, walls, and foundation of your home, but at this time in the season when leaves start to accumulate quickly and high winds bring down loose debris, we recommend checking often.
Trim trees and shrubs
Cutting back any overhanging branches or limbs that are close to your home will minimize the risk of them falling or causing damage to your siding, gutter, and roof during high winds. This will also help prevent debris from clogging gutters or blocking drains.

Consider a backup generator
