Energy Conservation Act Passed

On February 13, 2009 Congress approved the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009.  For homeowners thinking about replacing their windows, this is the perfect time to complete this project!  Qualifying Energy Star rated windows, doors, roofing and insulation (must have a U factor of below .30 and SHGC of .30) installed between January 1 and December 31, 2009 qualify for a tax credit of 30% of their cost up to $1,500.  For a limited time homeowner who sign a contract for any approved energy efficient product can receive an additional $500 off their project!*
