On February 13, 2009 Congress approved the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009. For homeowners thinking about replacing their windows, this is the perfect time to complete this project! Qualifying Energy Star rated windows, doors, roofing and insulation (must have a U factor of below .30 and SHGC of .30) installed between January 1 and December 31, 2010 qualify for a tax credit of 30% of their cost up to $1,500.

On-Going:

Attention Montgomery County Residents! Montgomery County is offering county residents an additional tax credit of $250 as part of the Montgomery County Renewable Energy Tax Credit. FUNDS ARE LIMITED, and they are first come, first serve. Only $250,000 total for the county is available, and once the funds have been approved via tax credit applications homeowners will not be able to take advantage of this offer.
