Bianchi Job Spotlight
The Bianchi Family of Washington DC contacted American Custom Contractors this past summer to get more information about James Hardie fiber cement siding. They were tired of spending money on repainting the siding every 3 to 5 years and were seeking a product that required less maintenance. Their home was built in the 1920’s with many custom features, giving the home a unique façade that they wanted to accentuate.
Project Consultant Tim Booth met with the Bianchi family to discuss the benefits of James Hardie siding. In addition to being a maintenance free product that does not require painting, James Hardie replicates the look of natural wood siding, so it would be the perfect compliment to the Bianchis custom home. It has also been rated by Remodeling Magazine as the #1 Return on Investment for homeowners completing a replacement project for their home.
Working with Tim, the Bianchis decided to replace the vertical siding on the façade of their home with a combination of James Hardieplank Lap Siding and James HardieShingle. In addition, American Custom Contractors painted the brick on their home with Sherwin Williams Duration Exterior Paint to create cohesive, lighter color palette that accentuates the details in architecture.
