American Custom Contractors recently completed a roof replacement for The Buck Family of McLean, VA. Mr. Buck is the President and CEO of Beacon Roofing Supply, one of the largest roofing material distributors on the East Coast and the holding company for The Roof Center. The Buck’s were aware from the beginning of their search for a qualified company that finding a competent contractor would be the most important decision in the home improvement process. This can be a challenge for homeowners because of the high volume of contracting companies in the Washington DC Metro area. “All contractors have access to the same materials”, says Mr. Buck, “the company and the individuals that apply the material — their detail and the workmanship — give you the best value for your money. We were looking for the most competent company”.
The home had many missing, curling or split shakes, as well as missing hip & ridge caps which are a huge risk for leaks and interior damage!

After the completion of the roof system, the Buck’s also decided to replace their gutter system with 6” gutters and dowspouts and a gutter cover system recommended by American Custom Contractors.
