The Buck family had noticed that their cedar shake roof was in need of replacement.  It was nearly 20 years old and was showing signs of aging, including split and curling shakes and missing hip & ridge caps.  Mr. Buck had decided that he wanted to use a synthetic slate product to replace the cedar shake roof.  The synthetic slate would complement the design of his home in addition to a wide variety of other benefits.  American Custom Contractors replaces all flashings in conjunction with the roof for all roof replacement projects, as per industry and manufacturer standards.  In this case, the homeowner opted to use copper flashings to enhance the beauty of the synthetic slate on the home.   Read about the full project here!
