Our Mission

It is American Custom Contractors’ mission to consistently provide quality craftsmanship and products in a professional manner to our family of customers. We are dedicated to building lasting relationships with our customers by insuring 100% customer satisfaction. We believe that providing education about our services and products and the contracting industry is the honest and professional way to assist homeowners. Our company is committed to developing our employees’ personal and professional long term growth by providing opportunities in the workplace.

Our Staff

Every person employed at our company, from our office staff to the Owners, are required to participate in on-going product seminars, to read manufacturer installation manuals and be active in customer service training to insure that our customers have a positive experience from the moment they contact our office through the completion of the project.  Our installers and mechanics are required to participate in on-going product training and safety training.

The Founders

Alex and Angie Giakoumatos founded American Custom Contractors in 1972.  Proud parents of four children, they worked diligently to build their company over three decades.  They are still involved with the company to this day, and are active members of the community.

The Owners

William & Demetri Giakoumatos have been involved in the business since they were children.  They took over formal management of the company nearly a decade ago.  They continue to work with homeowners through the Washington DC and Greater Pittsburgh areas to provide the highest quality products and services, with a commitment to customer satisfaction.
